Call preparation · editorial guide

Make the call count.

Find member support without confusing it with a provider-only line. Offices may need the member present or an authorized representative form.

Have ready in your secure workspace

  • Exact plan name and member contact instructions
  • Consent and representation requirements
  • A clear request with no unnecessary medical detail

Questions to resolve

  • Can you discuss this request with the authorized office representative?
  • Which team can resolve the member question?
  • What is the next step and reference number?

This is a general administrative checklist, not payer policy or advice about a particular patient. Confirm the current plan instructions.

A request does not create an account or start a call. Use business contact information only. No patient information.
